We are thinking ahead and planning for next year!
Charter schools are not allowed to carry over a wait list from year to year. All who would like to attend for the 2018-2019 school year must submit a fresh application!
Here's a general timeline for the process:
Mid December - Admission Window Opens
Applications are made available and begin to be received.
January & February - Visitation Opportunities
Informational Meetings and School Tours are offered throughout the admissions period. Remember to call ahead to reserve your place on a tour. Spanish translation is available for all scheduled Tours and Info Meetings. Please visit our school websites for Sycamore Valley Academy and Blue Oak Academy for dates and details.
Mid February - Admissions Window Closes
Applications must be submitted by this deadline in order to be
included in the lottery.
Mid February - Admissions Lottery
Held in the cafeteria for the interested public; adults only
Attendance has no effect on outcome.
Late February - Status Notification
Admitted families will receive enrollment paperwork to submit by a provided deadline.
Those not admitted after the lottery will be placed on the
"Admissions Priority List" (aka "waitlist") to be notified of enrollment opportunities when vacancies occur.
