Lauren Ventura started her journey in education at Blue Oak Academy as an After School Program Aide while she was working toward her Bachelor's degree from California State University, Fresno in Criminology. Spending time working with our incredible students, has sparked a love for elementary education. Forgoing her career plans in law enforcement, Lauren now plans to pursue a Master of Elementary Education and a multiple subject teaching credential.

Ms. Ventura is passionate about serving students and attending to their well-being. Creating a loving, supportive, and safe place for students to express themselves is incredibly important to Lauren and she intends to continue this in our After School Program. Lauren believes that students are truly the teachers of unconditional love, kindness, and patience and she cannot wait to learn more from our scholars!

When she's not at The Academies, you can find Lauren on stage at a community theater, baking and cooking, or spending time with her family and pets.
